Scotch® Tape 130C is a 0.75 mm (30 mil) thick, high-quality rubber splicing tape without a sheath used for joining and terminating cables and wires. It can withstand temperatures up to 90 °C (194 °F) with an emergency overload of up to 130 °C (266 °F). The tape has excellent electrical and mechanical properties and offers protection against moisture.

The tape provides primary insulation for solid, dielectrically insulated cables with voltages up to 69 kV.
